We’re back at six! Delighted to welcome Dave Maskew and Chris Byrne to our merry band of France bound, two wheel loving, yet obviously slightly potty, cyclists.
It’s great to have the team back to six after a couple of us had to drop out early on. It’ll definitely make the trip more enjoyable, not to mention help swell the sponsorship coffers. Welcome guys!

Now, whilst we’re talking about the team, day one of the ride will see us 11 strong…yup…11. Gonna be a squeeze at the top of Blackpool Tower and we’ll also need more Curly-Wurly’s but what a great send off!
So, it’s also a hello to Amy, Louise, Jo and Georgina from Journey9 as well as uber-cyclist Phil Jones! I’m not sure the Journey9 girls quite know what they’ve let themselves in for, but I do know that they’ll really enjoy the 80-odd miles that day 1 has in store.
As for Phil…he won’t break into a sweat
