When my son was born 2 years ago I soon realised that I had turned in to a lazy, fat slob. With a new family and a new business, I had very little time for exercise. So I did the only thing I could think of and started cycling the 6 miles a day to work. 18 months later I have lost almost 3 stone and although I could still do with losing a stone more I am a new man!
I got my first road bike in January 2009 and completed the Manchester to Blackpool and Manchester 100 miler the same year. This January the cycle to work scheme was kind enough to bring me a shiny white Planet and in March I completed the 100 mile Cheshire Cat sportive!
I can’t wait to get started on the Tower 2 Tower, but glad there is some recovery time after the world cup.
